Consumer Reports

Client: Practice

This design was also just for practice, but Consumer Reports released their new web site only 2 days after I completed this, and, oddly enough, their design has many similarities to my own. I never sent this to them, so I am sure it is just coincidence. On the other hand, I guess that means I am doing something right.

Project Cuda

Client: The Car Shop

I know, I know. ANOTHER design for The Car Shop. I like making designs for them, as they are a very unique group and are constantly changing. This one went through a few revisions as they thought it was too dark and didn't emphasize what they are trying to emphasize now.

Project Genesis

Client: Lord of Lords Lutheran Church

How do you design a website to look good on both an 800x600 resolution and a 1920x1200 resolution? You keep it simple, and that is exactly what I did for the Lord of Lords newest. The colors, the navigation, the content; they are all stylishly simple. And, more importantly, they get the job done.

Maserati

Client: Practice

This one was just for practice. I wanted to try a different layout, one that I had not tried before, and I think it turned out pretty well. The navigation is a little plain, but I did not want to over-complicate it. I think the color scheme is slick, and the lower layout is really effective in presenting imformation in a stylish manner.

Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School

Client: Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School

This is a design I created for the Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School near Denver, CO. My goal was to bring a smoother, more detailed look to their website. The color scheme was based upon their current color scheme, and the design was intended to fit both a church and a school.

MSU Air Force ROTC DET 450

Client: MSU Air Force ROTC DET 450

This is a quick design I made for the University's Air Force ROTC Detachment (DET 450). The content is just copied from their current website, just formatted to match this design. They wanted something similar to the US Air Force website (and most of the other military divisions in the US), so I came up with this.

Radio Station Design - TheRiver1079.com

Client: Practice

I have been wanting to do a design like this for some time now, but I have a very hard time making a web design without having content to put into it. Anyways, I stumbled across the website for one of our local radio stations here in Casper (www.TheRiver1079.com). Most of the content is taken straight from their current site, but with this design it would be extremely easy to change elements/sections/content.

Sketchpad

Client: Ryno Studios

I was going for some sort of studio feel; like something an artist, or architect, for that matter, could enjoy showing a portfolio on. I used parts from an old template I created as a foundation, mainly the idea of a pad of paper pinned onto a desk. I got the idea from my desk calendar.

Sleek Black

Client: Ryno Studios

This design features a custom scroller, hover effects, and a very interface-like appearance. Everything is done in CSS, HTML, PHP, and JavaScript, but it is designed to look like a Flash design. This one required much more coding than most of my web layouts, but in the end it was worth it.

My Bliss: Closer To Home

The original photograph is by Alistair McRonald. I wanted to create something that was much more likely to be found here in beautiful Wyoming, and, when I saw that photograph, I realized it was very "close to home," so to speak. I have seen scenes like this one around here, and they are beautiful in a unique way.

Final Firefly

DESCRIPTION COMING SOON

Forsaken

He has escaped from the laboratory in which he was created, and has progressed, with great difficulty, through the building and reached the outer world. While he cannot see it or hear it, he knows the town he was born and raised in, the town that he was raising his family in before he was captured for experimentation, is no longer the same.

New Half-Life 2

DESCRIPTION COMING SOON

Renovatio

I started off just creating the monster, although he slowly became a less important part in the piece as I created the lab. The way I see it, he was at one point in time a normal adult, who fell victim to an organization's experiments. I wanted it to instill an empty feeling, as well as pity for the monster that has had a "rebirth."

Simply Nostalgic

This one is not part of the My Bliss series, as the image is not very like the others. It is dirty, grungy, and plain. The colors are not highly saturated, and there is noise in the sky. I wanted to make something different, something I often see in photographs, but never in wallpapers.

My Bliss: The Bay

I am back in full swing! College has been going very fast and getting more and more difficult with every passing day, but no matter how many things I have going on I will always make time for these wallpapers. The city is Sydney, for anyone who was wondering; I have had several people ask me if it is Seattle...

The Great Blue Space

DESCRIPTION COMING SOON

My Bliss: The Morning After

This is going to be the last of my "My Bliss" wallpapers, at least for this year; I am just too busy to keep them coming, which is extremely unfortunate, as I absolutely love making these. I wanted to create a seasonal "My Bliss" wallpaper, so I thought I would make one for the current season.

My Bliss: The Sunrise

As I was delivering newspapers the other morning I saw a very beautiful sky; it had been raining on-and-off through out the night, so there were rain clouds above, but the sunrise was casting a wonderful glow on them. I decided I needed to make a "My Bliss" wallpaper out of the sunrise and sunset.

When I Close My Eyes I

Obviously this is not intended to be a real place, or a real scene, hence everything is rather simple. The idea behind this is that we all see one world with our eyes open, but we see another world when we close our eyes. This is the start of a new series, "When I Close My Eyes."

When I Close My Eyes II

I used another one of Alistair McRonald's wonderful panoramic photographs to create this one. I am trying to work with water more, but it is really weird. One of the goals I had before I started this was to create something that had a less photo-like appearance.

When I Close My Eyes III

This was just a simple manipulation I did a few days ago so I could have a new background for my desktop. I thought having a city at night would look different than my usual (landscapes), so I found this picture of Chicago's skyline, darkened it up, changed the color, and painted a view of space. I know I am not very good at nebulas, but I can see the improvement.

Carbon

Application: Steam

Carbon is a very dark, shiny theme inspired by many modern designs, from sports cars to themes for Windows. This one is quite similar to my "Slate" series of skins, but it has a much more glossy finish. Unfortunately Carbon is only for users who can read English; a small portion of the elements have the text embedded into their images.

RoyDarkle

Application: Steam

RoyDarkle is a twist on the Vista Dark skin; it is inspired be several "Royal" skins for XP, but it is mostly derived from one of my web interfaces, Sleek Black. It is a dark skin with cool blue effects. Currently, I feel that it may receive many changes in the future, but that depends on the feedback I receive.

Slate

Application: Steam

This is one of my most popular skins for Steam, and for many good reasons. Slate is very unigue in comparison to other Steam skins, but it matches many Windows visual styles very well. This skin was originally designed by o2dazone of the Steam Users Forums. This skin comes in three flavors: Slate, Slate Orange, and Slate Colored.

Slate Colored

Application: Steam

This is one of my most popular skins for Steam, and for many good reasons. Slate is very unigue in comparison to other Steam skins, but it matches many Windows visual styles very well. This skin was originally designed by o2dazone of the Steam Users Forums. This skin comes in three flavors: Slate, Slate Orange, and Slate Colored.

Slate Orange

Source

Application: Steam

Source is a new color scheme for Steam, nothing more. The colors match the the color scheme found in the GUI of games using the Source Engine (Half-Life 2), much like Steam 3.0 Source was. This skin works with the recently introduced Steam Community and update Friends system.

Vista Basic

Application: Steam

This is the other half of the update to my "Steam 3.0 Vista" skin after VALVe added the Steam Community to Steam. This is a complete remake of the previous skin, so there are plenty of changes to make the skin look more complete. This skin features the old layout of Steam, causing it to look much more like an application running in Windows Vista.

Vista Dark

Application: Steam

This is the update to my "Steam 3.0 Vista" skin after VALVe added the Steam Community to Steam. This is a complete remake of the previous skin, so there are plenty of changes to make the skin look more complete. This skin features the old layout of Steam, causing it to look much more like an application running in Windows Vista.

Gears Of War

Application: Logon Studio

I used boss019's "My Very Own Logon" resource skin, which can be found here. I spent several hours changing it to meet my needs and desires. I created a new splash based solely on an idea I had in my head, and worked from there. I am always looking to better myself, especially in this field, as I am still a novice.
